Mahar Shahid Zaman Lak, Deputy Commissioner, Narowal has said that for the bright future of the children. The children will have to be vaccinated against polio in any case, otherwise God forbid parents might face repercussions and therefore parents should show responsibility in this regard. He emphasized taht every round is of special importance for the complete eradication of polio virus. He accentuated that staff of the Health Department should go door to door and give polio drops to five year old children. He said the commendable role of those who have fully supported the government at every opportunity cannot be forgotten. All departments should use their resources to ensure the fulfillment of the national mission so that the future of the children can be brightened. He said this while presiding over a meeting of Anti-Polio Committee in Committee Room.
The Deputy Commissioner, Narowal directed the health department officials to closely monitor all anti-polio matters and report the incidents on a daily basis and report to them. No negligence will be tolerated during the campaign. He said that children are the future of our country and their bright future is dependent upon healthy life.
